In her youth, she was financially challenged.
However, feeling the need to try to have a more expressive appearance she got started with designing strange outfits and painting custom textures and images on for these.

"Unfortunately I rarely wore those articles... but surprisingly I sold them.

More recently she has illustrated T-shirts with colorfully animal and floral designs. These have proved very popular.
